Proven Experience

Since 2020, Maximus has maintained HIAL/PLIS system in BC. Health Information Access Layer (HIAL) and Provincial Laboratory Information Solution (PLIS) work together to store and share all laboratory results in British Columbia with authorized users.

HIAL-PLIS enables health care providers in different BC health authorities to access lab results, no matter where the patient resides, or which lab services they use. Supported by Maximus, HIAL-PLIS helps to bridge technical and geographical gaps, with seamless data exchange, interoperability, and security.
